A Snapshot of Small Facility Recycling

Tuesday, April 19, 2011
In February, Today's Facility Manager published an article explaining why fluorescent lamp recycling still matters, even in a tough economy when facility management budgets are tight.

The article discussed how recycling lamps can mitigate the financial, environmental, and public relations risks of throwing them out, as well as generate additional benefits like green marketing opportunities and a safer workplace.

Last month, the magazine ran a follow-up article about the types of recycling methods available to facility managers who operate facilities of less than 150,000 square feet, and the logistics of what recycling lamps often looks like for small facilities.

A new whitepaper from Air Cycle Corporation reviews the challenges of recycling UWs across the complex, multi-facility structure of a large corporation and explains how an EasyPak™-powered corporate recycling program can help minimize recycling costs, ensure organization-wide participation and measure recycling progress while generating additional benefits like green marketing opportunities and reduced liability for improper disposal.
